Re: Lego anyone?

@tyme oh I can only but dream. It sounds so amazing, I'll just have to settle for pictures 🙂

Re: Lego anyone?

@Gremlin24

There's a Lego store at Westfield Marion... near the cinemas.  Its pretty small but they do have bins of pieces you can play with.  You just have to 'adjust' kids out of the way.... and probably sanitize your hands after though 😁

There is a place calked Lego Kaboom near the Airport but ive never been there.

Both options of course have the same problem.... people everywhere.  And they really don't like it when you ask them all to leave so you can look at all the Lego in peace and quite.

Re: Lego anyone?

@MJG017 i have been in there but it's too peoply for me 😂. I'm not a germophobe but cooties are definitely real 😂.

I've never heard of Lego Kaboom although I don't go near the airport so that's probably why.

Have you watched Lego masters? I've always thought how much fun it would be to just be let loose with all that Lego they have on there 😊

Re: Lego anyone?

@Gremlin24

I go to the Games World store a couple of shops down from the Lego place. I loke browsing it but its tight and there's always people in the way. As you say... far too peoply. 😁

Whether it cooties or something else, id hate to run a blacklight over those lego bins! TThe other annoying thing is there's lego all over the floor around them.  God forbid a parent shows some control over their children in a public place!

Ohhh imagine sitting somewhere surrounded by near infinite lego and just building!  I would never leave that place! 🤣  They'd literally have to drag me out kicking and screaming... and I can kick and scream as good as anyone. 😂

Re: Lego anyone?

@MJG017 yes games world is good but it's very cramped in there and it triggers panic attacks for me. I don't do tight spaces as it is so being cramped in a small store isn't an ideal situation. Everywhere is too peoply for me 😂.

Oh parents that don't clean up after their kids drive me nuts, or even teach their kids to clean up after themselves, like honestly it's not that hard. But yes I would definitely hate to see what's growing on all that Lego, icky. At least I know mine is clean other than a little dust and dog hair 😂.

I have enough Lego to run a Lego shop i reckon 😂. I'm just not that creative to build my own things but I'd still just love to have free run of so much that you could just build whatever you wanted. I'd be right there with you kicking and screaming if they tried to drag me out of there, except I have nails to use aswell 😂

Re: Lego anyone?

@Gremlin24

I must admit, when i go to Games World its a quick hit and run mission so i spend as less time in there as I can.  It is very cramped so i dont really go there to browse any more.  I will if I go and its lucky enough to be fairly empty.  Its also handy its near a carpark entrance so i have to spend very little time in the mall.

See, that where you would have an advantage .. i dont have nails.  I've always picked them like an idiot.  A smart person would use the proper clippers but i guess chilhood habits are hard to break.  So maybe id bead to improvise and handcuff myself to the Lego.  Not with Lego handcuffs though... im sure they'd have plenty of those lego remover tools! 😁

Re: Lego anyone?

@MJG017 i always park as close as i can to where i need to go if i go to Marion cos it's just way too hectic in there. Today I went into a shop the was empty but then as soon as I started looking around everyone seemed to come and i was like nope I'm out of here 😂.

See my nails are long, I have never been one to bite them unless one breaks and I don't have clippers handy. But I kid you not my pinky nail on one hand is 1.5cm long from the tip of my finger 😂. At least I've never wasted money on getting fake nails put on 🤷‍♀️.

So I'll use my nails to fight them off and you can handcuff yourself. Sounds like a fun plan 😂. I have so many of those damn Lego separators, I swear they multiply 😂

Re: Lego anyone?

@Gremlin24

Dont you hate that i itial excitement of seeing a favourite shop empty, going in for a relaxed browse, and then everyone floods in like youve just sprung some kind of trap!

I must admit, as soon as i read 1.5cm nails I felt a strong urge to bite my nails! 🤣  I'm not sure my nails have ever gotten to see the view from over the end of my fingers.  I have wasted money on fake nails either though, so we're even there. 😁

So once we've forced our way in and made it impossible to remove us, what do you start building first?  I would life a child hood dream and build that massive spaceship i alwas wanted to.  I was always limied to the parts i had from the few kits I had and always wanted more.  I liked one of my creations so much that i never took it apart, and I still have it somewhere.  Ill have to dig it up tomorrow ans post a photo.

If i could come up with a good use for all those spare lego tools, i would be a happy chappy.  I mean you cant throw them away... They're Lego!   Okay.... as i typed this, my brain needed to ask the question.  Here's the first thing i found...

Re: Lego anyone?

@MJG017 it's so annoying, like why can't I just have the entire shop to myself. I don't wanna share with others 😂.

Don't bite your nails! 😂. I guess I'm just lucky that I never got into that habit. Yay for both of us saving money on fake nails.

Oohh a spaceship sounds fun, once we have done that can we build a fort to hide in? I look forward to seeing a pic.

Love the creativeness of making things with those pesky Lego separators 😂

Re: Lego anyone?

@Gremlin24

Dear god!  Building a lego fort big enough i could go in it!! I have a new life's dream!!
