Its really nice to have visitors here.  I have been here just over 3 weeks now, and the only visitor I have had so far has been a brief visit from the son of a friend who lives in Sydney.  So you are all very welcome. 

I would set you all to work unpacking boxes, but there are none left to do.  All done!  Everything is unpacked, everything has a place and everything is now neatly in its place.  Only a bit of fine tuning left to do with some of the cupboard storage, and I'm done.  

I have even managed to do all my picture hanging by myself.  That has been quite a task, believe me.  I could have used your help with that!  Why weren't you around last week while I was measuring, testing, levelling, propping, checking, etc?  🤣  Not to worry, its all done now.  Not quite perfect - with some a little too high, others a bit low.  But they will do, for now anyway.

Chai sounds good @Bow .  I have just plain black tea.  But its leaf tea and made in a proper pot.  So its good.  In fact, I need a top-up.  And maybe some of those goodies that @Shaz51 left on the table for us to indulge in.  Are you still around too @Eve7 @Snowie ?

oh you have done well to get that all done in 3 weeks @Emelia8 !! whenever we have moved we've had boxes sitting around for months with just random things in them. do you have much of a garden? somewhere nice to sit in the sunshine and have a cuppa?

You’re a legend @Emelia8 and I’m sure your home is amazing. Anytime you have the kettle boiling I can pop in but I’m sorry we weren’t much help last weekend.

It’s good for us to all get together socially sometime and we’ll have this thread open to call in on you now as I know others want to visit.

I’m just about to get the scones out of the oven….
