Absolutely, I don't know what facebombing is: but I'm going to a Valentine's opera event, and I'm going to tell them I hate the day, and why I hate it, and that there should be opera about that. There should be opera about chronic loneliness; it's not shameful and it's not our fault; and if we don't tell people it won't even occur to them that there's a problem, and by us telling them it gives others who face the same issues permission to speak up too.

Was going to friends tonight but she called it off, so staying home with son, my dogs and cat did not like the 9pm fireworks and will be worse with midnight ones, they all jump on us and Don't move.

2023 ended with so many unanswered questions.

I still haven’t found out who let the dogs out or how to get to Sesame Street.

Why Dora doesn’t just use Google Maps?

Why do all flavors of fruit loops taste exactly the same?

Why eggs are packaged in a flimsy carton, but batteries are secured in plastic that’s tough as nails.

Why is “abbreviated” such a long word or why is there a D in the word ‘fridge’, but not in refrigerator?

Why do you have to “put your two cents in” but it’s only a “penny for your thoughts”, where’s that extra penny going to?

Why does The Alphabet Song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star have the same tune and why did you just try to sing those two songs?

What exactly is Victoria’s secret and where is Wally?

I am not this witty, I got this from a friend, who stole it from her brother’s girlfriend’s, uncle’s cousin who lived next door to an old class mate’s mailman.

A pearler post  @Glisten ..   Its those unanswered  questions,   the splinters in the night,   horizons beyond our sight,    The search. . .      Thats  a part of why we will wake up tomorrow and try,   just a little harder.   

@saturnzoon    I'm drink posting but I still have the pen juice to tell you that you have so much more courage than me mate..    I won't explain..     I have been  alive a long time, seen much and I know  what a true hero looks like.  They don't wear medals,   get Australia day awards,   or headlines.

They get up each day and do for their loved ones what you do with almost nothing but the purest form of love.   A mothers love.    I'm humbled by you mate.   You hang in because folks like you will have their day..       Your friend                   tonys.
