Wanted to say I was going through my twitter page and found an old post today which may be relevant to some people who wish to cool off in the heat using a yogic pranayam breathwork modality called Crows Beak Breath. It has the effect of cooling the body in the heat and its what yogis use to cool down in places like India during summer. Its not recommended to do in the cold because it cools you down too much.
There are some guidelines and contraindications to this practice so be mindful. Don't do it if you have any of these conditions and use the precautions:

Too early in the game for that. Oh, in other news.... lol got study accepted as mutual obligation by new DES provider ..who knew ...(that there were decent people in such a horrible system) they offered to do ph appts some times as well and dont have to apply for jobs as such. They also made noises about me applying for DSP, am dubious, plus its a hell of a lot of paperwork, would have to get medical records from all over. well could run it past GP when see then monday.
Have a good day all.
oh, re your 'butterfly net' using to fish while singing bing crosbys greatest hits that makes fish want to end things by jumping on yr boat .. @tonys
perhaps this is a more humane method..
..as thrown by a 17 yo @ Tab in basic training 1980 and later on on exercise in 1982 prob threw 10 all up.
Will always remember instructor doing demo with a guy.. he says to guy(with live grenade) 'are you nervous?' .. well dont be , because that makes me scared.. ill just show you what will happen if something goes wrong.. ie person w grenade drops it in trench while trying to throw it. So he crash tackles this guy throwing them both behind a dividing wall 'saving' them .. fun times .. lol

Hey @TAB ,
Seeing this thread is now onto 8000 pages +, I wonder if you want to create a new Good Morning Thread and we lock this one. By having less pages, it speeds up processing time.
What do you think?

A bit like some of the stories my late husband told me of his early training in the Navy @TAB . He was a JR during Vietnam war. 😂😱😔😊♥

Good mornin @TAB ☺️🌺
Procrastinating in moments, but studying slowly here today 🙂
I hear that regarding CPAP mask… use one myself (went through around 15 different ones before settling on what Ive got, with pressures often over 25cm), and it was a (very frustrating) matter of just keeping it on till I fell asleep - which often took hours - when first getting acclimatised to it.
I use nasal pillows, with a chin+mouth strap, which in my case gives much less incidental/large leak around the cushion (full face with larger seal area just do not stay sealed on my girly face/narrower jaw). I used to fit masks in a job I did a while back - it’s an artform for sure ☺️
That’s great the DES accepted study as a mutual obligation!
Phone appts sound much more convenient, and applying for DSP…not sure if this is relevant or helpful (maybe it’s all stuff seen before?) however I thought I’d include it in case it’s useful..when I decided to apply, I reviewed the current disability tables and associated rules (what happens when you’re over 20% on one single table, for instance), and found it clarified what info I might need to include: this site shows both a link to the full tables, and the link to the rules around study and work relating to the tables: Disability Tables and Work Rules relating to the Tables links
A .pdf in case it’s helpful .pdf Disability Tables
I took a print of the Tables to my docs, with the impairment area highlighted so they could review and decide the impact/severity, and report accordingly in their document of support. This approach may not work for everyone, however it helped a bit for me. I also had a work functional assessment by an occupational therapist who gave the info to Centrelink, so they could see clearly the (lack of) capacity I was living with.
Hoping this is useful 🙂🌺🙌🏻
