"This is a time for fierce love.
Resilient love.
A love that can move the mountains of outdated convention, and weather the storm of turbulent change.
A love that is unyielding in the face of fear and unconditional in the face of pain.
A love that is relentlessly compassionate to ourselves and others as we navigate this monumental growth…
Burn steady dear heart, burn bright and shine light into all the dark corners so that we can heal and rise strong together."

@SmilingGecko 13 years of going to the in-law’s family Christmas and having to share a meal with sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and calling my grandson a “slap-head” because my daughter in law is Chinese. “Oh well that’s ok”.

Is it any wonder my ex is a narcissist 🤷🏼‍♀️

Re: Good Morning!

So many people with so many ideas of how to run a nation and its economy, @SmilingGecko. I only know that the rich are making the rules and the less rich are paying for their mortgage. I also know that understanding it all is an enormous task, and few do.

The video suggested buying property and letting the tenant pay for the mortgage, but if I did that I would lose my pension or a goodly part of it. So, some rules suit some people but finding the rules that suit everyone to some degree is key, it seems. And therein lies the rub, which is why I just plod along and do my best.

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB  Home is the place you don’t want to escape.

Thanks for sharing

Re: Good Morning!

Yes its always been that way and its why the 1% controlling the world want Central Bank Digital Currencies to enslave humanity @Historylover.  I don't have any means myself but I know what the elites do. I am not privileged. But I've seen one young man possibly 18 years old buy a huge transportation truck from crypto and see him get prosperous.

So while I can't do much on my pension crypto is an open door.  Its hard when theres restrictions and limited opportunities with DSP pension rulings with the money system the way it is but there are many mentors that are out there who are genuine who want to give people a go who do have some measure of liquidity. Many of them started out in poverty themselves and know all about it having been there.

All we can ask of ourselves it to do our best and try and get by as well as we can. It can feel delimiting but just to keep persisting. I've been transferring my money out as I'm concerned there may be a bank run and saving as much as possible and keeping costs down.

Re: Good Morning!

Yes the film was a bit of a corker. Many films are portals to the future. They let us know what to expect.  I'm glad you liked it @StuF was so happy to share. How are you btw? I know your parents have had covid. I was going to do a shout out to you today as I wondered that you may have come down with it. i thought you may have been ill as you have been quiet on here the past few days. Its nice to see you around. I'm about to go on another walk soon so will see you on the forums

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @SmilingGecko

We've all got covid here! lol

But all were eligible for antivirals, which seem to have helped. None of us have been too bad...main thing is lethargy. Like, I just did my ironing and could easily go for a nap!

Hope you're having a good walk. See you round 🙂
