Re: Good Morning!

Not too bad ... @StuF 2 Murray Bridge ice creams for dessert ... yeah I know its winter!

Glad you are feeling secure in your job.

Re: Good Morning!

I went looking for ice cream for dessert too @Appleblossom ...only to find my dad had finished it!

Yeah, far less stressed, which is nice 🙂

Re: Good Morning!

@AppleblossomThe Merchant of Venice “all that glisters is not gold". The origin of the modern day saying “All that glitters is not gold".

I’m not an English lit boffin, but I tend to read most of his work as dark comedy 🤷🏼‍♀️🎭 Hamlet - everyone ends up dead.

Thank you for the distraction.

I should ask my Auntie, she’s a retired English lit teacher.

Thank you for the nudge @Appleblossom

Re: Good Morning!

Ah ... my recall is not that good tho I have read it. lol

Glisten has a positive glowing or shining aspect to it @Glisten

This thread is active all times of day ... lol ... not just for fowls ... up at crack of dawn.

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Shaz51 How has your week been?

Mine was rather rough, with too many unexpected intrusions.

I am hoping for a better weekend.

Re: Good Morning!

Hello @StuF well you've been able to dodge an unpleasant meeting for the time being. Its been a great little job for you while it lasted. I know you don't particularly like it there and are looking to disengage from that job permanently. Lets hope there is other work for you on the horizon. I'm hoping you have a nice weekend anyway. Sending hugs if thats ok.

Re: Good Morning!

Re: Good Morning!

Yes routine is your friend. Mental Illness is a vata dosha disease in ayurveda and responds to routine and proper daily habits.  I try and stick to a routine as much as possible @StuF. I follow a book called The Perfect Day Plan by Jost Sauer who is a traditional chinese doctor. Following a routine is supportive of your health and wellbeing. You feel better and are more intrinsically happy
