Hello @StuF I listen to it a few times - its the recommended amount per day. It can really change your mindset and eliminate self defeating ingrained patterns.  You do it for a total of several weeks to get the most benefit out of it

Heya @Former-Member @StuF @TAB @MDT @Meowmy hope your day has been a pleasant one!

 

anything new to add, I’ve just had a whirlwind of a day with my thoughts, dr told me to have positive ones, but it’s very hard… focusing on that…

 

got through 7.6 hours with calls, texts and meetings… tomorrow most likely the same.

 

the whole processes at work could be better, but going to stick around and see the outcome for now, just battling my thoughts for now, they can be quite debilitating

@MDT hey hams, thanks so much for wishing self compassion for me. I am so sensitive and fragile and tiny bit will upset me. Learning self compassion is so essential for my survival. Thanks.. Wish you a good evening.

You’ll get through it @Meowmy . I had the whole world at my fingertips now not so much. I take it everyday as it comes, no 5-10 year plan. That is the goal, hope you keep motivated, strong, co did ent and humble

Mindfulness can help you gain traction over negative thoughts - it retrains the mind to be healthier so you don't slip into self destructive tendencies with your thinking @Former-Member I do it now and my mental terrain is much better. It takes discipline
