Yikes @Appleblossom - mouse plague
I know - I saw these on the news last week - and I hate mice - and rats - for some reason mice send me silly and my old cat brought them inside to play with sometimes and it would freak me out
I could tell some stories but not today - I certainly understand how they could easily affect someone's mental health- there is something totally nightmarish about mice and a plague - eew
And rats - yes - twice I have had my roof void baited for rats - and there is no way to keep them off my property - around here the properties share fences, carports, roofs, bushes and trees and the rats and just get in and - enough said!
I hope you are okay - it would be totally mind-wrecking to have mice invading your territory

thanks for the tag @Appleblossom I remember in early 70s were a couple mouse plagues in SA when on farm, remember them walking across face in sleep, getting up, turning light on and there was like a chain of them head to tail going up bed leg lol. Would lift up sheet of galv near sheds, would be a carpet of mice underneath, nearly the same area as the iron
