I 100% agree with you @Former-Member! We really shouldn't have to - I hope things start improving soon. This causes a significant impact on everyone's health and people deserve better.

I don't think its going to improve, Australia is following the path of countries like Venuzuela where there is hyperinflation. The more money they print the higher the inflation.
Have been busy putting grocery away and cleaning my kitchen. Prepared a weetbix mocha slice and am about to cook some sweet potato bites.
Got to buy a book on crypto. I borrowed it from the library but I really need a reference book to work with. Will go and watch a finance presentation this afternoon.

Hey there @tonys 🙂🌺
There are places a person goes or sees that fundamentally change things inside; this has been the eye of the needle that I have had the melancholic honour of traversing…several times during my wicket so far 🙂
One of the most impactful things I ever did is drive trucks, however it was the location and the environments/communities/societies that I saw which shifted my view on an ongoing basis, while I was on the northern continent tripping across lands where time had seemingly frozen, and where the divides of political borders have a lesser effect when compared to religions and cultures.
Mostly, the instigator of conflict that I observed was fear, and so I learned to be without it - a powerful means of showing someone that they also can choose a different path, even when you don’t speak the same languages. Dropping fear and picking up kindness and curiosity changed a lot, and I found more allies than opponents to those roads where local custom was the law in situ.
I sometimes wonder if pieces of me remain there, or I brought pieces of them back with me, in terms of influencing the way I think, act, and respond… 🌺
Otherwise, I have worked in the fields of security, various allied health, teaching, farming, grazing, and others along the way. Each one shoving as much personal investment and effort into it as I could at the time… which is getting harder to do as I become aged and somewhat decrepit 🙌🏻🙂
Side note for clarification, I’m personally not and never have been military - I’m a pacifist, and it would be a direct conflict of my morals to take up arms under orders using current military methods of engagement…having said that, I have loads of empathy for military and other personnel in the difficulties they have faced and continue to in their lives 💜🌺
…and, I’m guessing that Mossad is equivalent to an amuse-bouche, when compared to the manoeuvrings of a kindergarten teacher! 🤭🙌🏻
Besides uni for allied health, I’m mostly self educated with some lesser certifications before and after that, although this is of lesser consequence in light of something my grandmother used to say to me when I was a toddler, which was to remain aware of everything around you so you can react and respond accordingly in each place you find yourself in, in her clipped-English way 💜🙂
She and my great aunts and uncles lived through much turmoil, and she shared that in helpful anecdotes till her last 🙂🌺
In terms of specific events I’ve lived through, I don’t really discuss them, because recounting stories that upset others is not helpful - suffice to say that they form part of what has shaped me and are the basis from which I form empathy, patience, and understanding for others from, without stigma or fear 🙂
Stepping outside the clichéd comfort zone is my happy place much of the time ..which says lots about me I guess ☺️
I hope you can get your devises fixed with the minimal of fuss, and you’re enjoying your day 🙂
And topics of interest please mention anytime 😀
Take care 🌺🙂
