Heard this solo trumpeter on the radio many years ago. The music starts off slow but picks up the pace at around 8 minutes. Its like hearing a trumpet that is crying I saw someone say. The track is entitled "Beirut". Lebanon seems just like such a sad and war torn place. Worth watching and listening right to the very end. It will evoke many emotions in you.

Was thinking the same thing  @Glisten ,   I think I spent my weekly ration of song links last night.  Spent the morning sweeping glitter,  chip packets n cans of the morning thread side walk.     sorry folks.

Hello @tonys hope you are doing well.  Had to have bees removed from my property afterhours on Monday. I was lucky I got in when I did as they don't work on public holidays. It took a huge chunk out of my budget. Bees came back today but outside a different window. Was expecting the worst financially. Took out an advance loan through social security just in case. Spoke to the bee man again. He was great and so trustworthy to deal with. So glad I met him.

I realised I keep getting bees on the property and its ever since I installed a product that keeps a house clear of EMFs and radiation.  I used to get lots of wasps and bees since then - thought there may be a correlation. I was at wits end so I unplugged the device from the wall and for some reason the bees have gone. I hope I'm right. But I can stop panicking now. Hopefully they are gone for good.

Many hotels and bed and breakfasts use this device to create a serene environment so people will stay and continue to come back. I use it to create a sanctuary of peace so I can always enjoy a holistay at home. Maybe these little bees were looking for a holistay, I dont know! So funny. Oh well we shall see.

Ok  .    didn't see the bee post.   Now I'm sitting upright,   @SmilingGecko .  So are you telling me that if I get one of those gadgets,  I have a chance of bee's  setting up shop at my joint..

Mate..    do go on..   You may be onto something here. Put all sorts of boxes n hollow logs under the farm house.  Only the native bee's came.     They came to you because,   OH well ,  I'l just say it,

That lumbar of mine aint no fun atm ... been on 2 walks (one to shops) and done a bit of garden. half prepped dindin... time for fowlers position on the couch.

Sat for  bit sorting out phone and that just made me heaps stiffer .... avin a whinge.

Going to a cast meeting for a play tonight which will keep me off the streets for next month.  Busy Busy Bea-ver.  Should be kinda distracting and interesting.  The bloomin program wont let me write the B word ...does the program algorithm have a dirty mind??..lol.. In my world little B's are gorgeous hard working animals .... God Save me from Political Correctness gone Mad.

@SmilingGecko Really resonated with many of your recent posts.  I visited Larundel and Mont Park in late 80s/early 90s.  I know what it was like ... Glad you found someone good there.  I also loved your conversations and support to others.  Loved the Slow Drum Bang and the trumpeter.  My Support worker;s family is from that part of the world.  I just keep praying that world leaders grow up and behave themselves.  They are NOT listening .... weary sigh ...

at least this new wkr and I have struck up a good rapport through both struggles and diligence and skills. Only seen her twice and then it will be fortnightly for a bit.  Some optimism as we have set goals that she can actually help with.  Not all support workers are the same.  Same as clinicians of all stripes ... Yes we need to hold out hope for when we get a good one, but also so important to recognise the problems in the system and not whitewash things ... another expert is not the answer ....
