That's good to know @Former-Member
I mean, I currently work, but less than the threshold. I'm always looking for other jobs that I might fit into, but even most 'part time' work is way too many hours for the DSP
Yeah- I slept in somewhat! lol
I've got work this afternoon. You up to anything?

Ah I hear you @StuF @it’s not much on the dsp and if you work 8 hours or whatever the threshold is, it still isn’t much.
what kind of work do you do, stuf?
not much on today, did a bit of cleaning,
ate, now thinking about the weekend but Covid lol

Yeah @Former-Member
I'm not looking for "much" necessarily. But I need more to do. But also feel the need to keep the DSP- I can't see myself working full time again and need the safety net if changing jobs doesn't work out. I should do some volunteering- if I ever pull my finger out.
I work at an art centre for the council. I set up rooms, move furniture, some cleaning, some gardening...pretty much whatever they need me to do. Which is cool- most of it is pretty easy and there is enough variety to keep me at least half engaged. And I'm generally left to do my own thing.
I wouldn't be contemplating leaving if they'd give me more hours!
Anyway- going to grab some lunch and head to work. Have a good Friday afternoon!

yeah , never heard of that @Former-Member think have to declare income, and they probs cut you off in the end in some way or another if work too much
not the same, but was told by DES job place that if I had worked more than a certain amount of hours over a certain period of time , then I was no longer eligible for their 'help''..
maybe best to tell them if you are on it or see what the status quo is.
May not be pension to go back to unless you are still getting it. dunno. best to ask/tell as problem will get bigger.
Depends what you want to do.
Might be hard to get back on it now.
there's always jobseeker I guess. its slowly catching up re $ just need to keep job peeps off your case tho, plus if reverts to new application , cant have over $5k in bank
.. need to talk to someone I think ..

@TAB 100% recall Centrelink lady over the phone said “you can always come back to this if work doesn’t work out”!
but 2 years only. I need to revisit the rules and such for being on dsp again.
But yeah need to get the app pretty much, and lodge my hours, might go toDES and get any job see how it goes
