Good morning to you too, @Former-Member. You certainly sound in fine fettle today. Good to see you've had your morning walk.
Cold in Melbourne? Freezing! And it hasn't got into gear yet. Several night ago, I just couldn't get warm in bed, so I had to get up and attend to more bedding. I'm now in the process of adding more. We just can't get to sleep if we can't get warm, can we? I bought a lovely fleecy lined jacket recently, and it has been such a treat that I bought another similar one. There's nothing worse than not being able to get warm.
Nothing eventful going on here, @Former-Member. I hope you have a lovely day and get some sunshine to warm yourself while out in the garden. The sun has just struggled through the clouds for a bit, here.

I think I will enjoy writing to a friend in the USA. I have weeded 8 garden beds in an hour so its all ready for planting when I put in my seedlings. I was going to get the lawnmower man to do the weeding as usually in the past just too tired to do anything @Former-Member but yes I've walked this morning plus gardened so saved myself some money doing it myself. Haven't heard anything re: dating. It may be hard to find someone given my socioeconomic status but I've put myself out there anyway.

@Historyloveryour fleecy lined jackets sound like a nice treat 😋 I got a wool blend cable knit jumper for winter as well as a puffer jacket to replace the other one with a bung zip. I got them from Salvosstores online for half price. I was really surprised with the quality of the jumper as these days its usually cheaply made and knitted with acrylic yarns. But its really good standard made of wool blend so a great purchase. I saw I had an astrological transit for that day which indicated I would get a quality bargain so checked out the site and sure enough got items for a ridiculously cheap price. Salvos tend to have high prices these days normally. I'm going to have to have some lunch then organise the electric blanket. Its been a busy day. I've weeded 8 garden beds and the soil looks so damp and full of nutrients. Can't wait to plant some seeds after the new moon

@Former-Member I think give it a shot re dating app. Would you prefer someone who is neurodiverse or normal?
I have one scorpion butch t chili plant and it’s produced some chilies which we have eaten, very hot though.
I can’t say I have any friends left, so you’re doing better than me in that regard.
I myself would like to date haven’t so before but from people that know me I’ve been called decent looking, I’m tall etc but just the medicated look doesn’t do any justice, plus my personality is average, people tend to think I’m weird lol. But I’m not weird for example people at my work have tried dog food out of curiosity but I haven’t done that, sorta caught me by surprise lol

Sounds like things are going well all around for you, @Former-Member. I went all out for wool quite a while ago, but I've noticed recently that my favourite isn't warm at all unless it's one of many layers. Yet I have an acrylic one that is warm? There's no getting away from the need for heating in the colder months. My walls are double brick and really hold the cold.
Eight beds weeded. Well done! It's not hard work when the soil is well-tended. The sun is out again here. I might go for a walk.

You seem to always shame me into going for a walk, @Former-Member. I just got back.

I don't care who, what or why @Former-Member just so long they are on a spiritual path and treat me well and make our relationship a priority. I have not had a partner in 10 years, was in damage control, plus had no libido in the past on these meds!!!
I know what you mean re:medicated look. I used to get that with the "Big L" med 30 years ago. Also now that I've trimmed down I look better. Maybe you could exercise more and do weights? I think you mentioned you did kick boxing or something.
Eccentricity is part of the course of having a MI unfortunately and we create adaptive behaviours as a part of dealing with trauma as a coping mechanism. The psychiatric community is understanding but from other places you'll only get criticism or judgement because they "don't get it". When you get older like me you will accept your eccentricities on not feel alienated by it.
As for friends they come and go. I don't really know anybody owing to my unique circumstances - friends and family dying and people moving on. But I have people I know via long distance but that is about all. I live in a semi regional district and in the past it was hard getting out meeting people.
