Re: Good Morning

Good morning and good afternoon @Former-Member @MDT @StuF @TAB @Former-Member @Shaz51 @Snowie @Oaktree @ShiningStar @Owlunar @hanami @tyme @FloatingFeather @amber22 @Former-Member and all forumites here. I hope you are travelling okay.

As for me, life has been a little busy and stressful over the past few weeks which explains why I’ve been absent from the forums - trying to handle my weird and wonderful life! The good news is I got accepted into my new Tafe course so I’m now studying leisure and health as of this week. I’m really happy for this as I found the mental health course I was previously studying to be triggering at times and I struggled to connect with the private education provider I was studying with and I was unsure if I’d ever get a job in the mental health industry that I’d enjoy and could be happy with. At least with this new course, I’ll be able to work at an aged care facility and have some form of employment stability which is important to me and my mental health. My course is 2 days a week with me travelling by train to the Tafe which gives me plenty of time to knit during my travelling to and from the location. The Tafe educators are very friendly and supportive and the Tafe student services support staff have been great with them contacting me to make sure I actually complete this 12 month course, especially the disability officer. I’m really motivated to study and an enjoying the current subject that I’ve just started which is a major positive for me and those who are supporting me in this new education journey.

Due to my new course being important to me, I may not be around the forums as much however I will try and check in when I can - hopefully at least once a week. I’ll post more about this soon in Jude’s Jungle soon. Thanks for all your support!

Take care and stay safe!
