@TAB youre doing great for walking close to an hour. You must be very physically fit.
I don't think dieticians know anything TAB.
The food pyramid was based around fuelling the agricultural industry according to healers I have read who were "in the know". I am on a rotten medication that is notorious for weightgain in women. I used to be slim prior to meds!
@MDT thanks! I live with chronic fatigue which makes it hard to get out but I have been drinking celery juice which is great for getting rid of Epstein Barr Virus which causes chronic fatigue. Celery juice on its own is a great healer.

@TAB I've owned a few juicers from op-shops. I had a Kambook and a Breville. All difficult to disassemble and clean.
If you buy online retail read the reviews!
My Kmart juicer is not a headache to clean, its easy to pull apart and put back together.
I went by the reviews I read. The others were a nighmare to clean to the point where I got sick of juicing each morning lol!!!

@TAB I love juicing celery. Its great for cleansing the liver and detoxing the body.
Celery is cheap at the moment but I have found the stalks to be quite slender compared to last winters crop. So you don't get a substantial head of celery.
I think juicing is great but unfortunately it does push up the glucose levels. So I just do celery.

celery here is a bit pot luck am in country , so buyers get the worst stuff they can and sell it for more than in the city @Former-Member but better than not eating it. Well or juicing it.
Not getting it today. Feel off. had nap, very deep sleep, had good walk, ate, nothing too bad, have ENT appt soon , guess getting nose cauterised its started ble*ding again, long history, usually it fixes itself but been ages now

Thats no good @TAB about your nose bleeds. It must be an unnecessary inconvenience. I'm sorry you have to go through all of that. It must be disappointing to contend with and a nuisance. I hope your procedure can get it fixed
Yeah the celery in the city is quite sparse the way its growing like I said. Its affordable compared to last year. It was so costly back then that I had to stop juicing because it was too expensive. But its cheaper now but theres hardly anything on the stalk

@TAB sounds like you've been through a tough ordeal with your past hospitalisations. High BP would not help matters as when your BP is high your nose can bleed!
Its no good you are not well. Its crushing to feel this way when your body acts up.
I truly understand what its like living with health related hardship mate
