Nice to see you again too
I "picked up" ADHD at the beginning of this year, which through me for a loop but then actually started to make a lot of sense. Come to think of it might have written about it on here since then. I can't remember, ha.
The half actually the same as your husband's - bipolar 2. Actually both ADHD and bipolar 2 were written as "differential diagnosis" on the referral letter my psychiatrist wrote for the hospital. I was pretty doubtful about the latter because I don't remember having ever felt great for 4+ days in a row Then about a month ago I went from completely flat/exhausted depression (that had lasted a few months) to constant agitation that lasted a few weeks, both of which landed me in hospital in rapid succession. After I started to come down from the agitation (or maybe move sideways) I felt AMAZING and energetic for a week, despite only sleeping 5-6 hours a night (and that being pharmaceutical-induced sleep). So...mmm.

Both highly heritable and there's a hypothesis that the conditions share overlapping genes! Guess I have my parents to thank.
