I'm going well enough, @Former-Member. I've been thinking of you and wondering how you are getting along while I've been keeping a low profile. I've been wondering about @Kyle1 too. He seemed to disappear several months ago so I hope all is well with him.
The injectable is dreadful. My exhaustion is debilitating. It has taken me a while to discern that it is caused by the injection as there are other factors which could have contributed, but I've satisfied myself that it is the cause now. I have muscle weakness too which even affected how I walk. I'm taking iron, multivitamins and Sustagen to try to maintain some level of energy, but it has been difficult. All I wanted was to stay in bed and rest. I've been forcing myself to maintain my carpet bowls and tennis despite my exhaustion.
I didn't expect to win my case, @Former-Member so I didn't even put up a fight. Their minds are pre-determined.

Hello @Historylover thank-you for thinking of me. I still live with the tiring effects of that depot medication. I think it's really weakened my body. I was hoping for a good outcome for you with the tribunal. I think being exhausted on that med is an understatement. But yes I can confirm its the depot that is causing that in you as it has been for many others I used to know ❤️ Which is why I did not want you on it
When I used to go shopping would have to split my grocery in half over two days as it was too exhausting going to the supermarket. I think over 8 years I just spent that time in bed being a convalescent. I only had a few hours to the day for myself but basically was in bed most of the time. Its a shocking reality.
One thing I would recommend is getting a chi machine or some similar brand and get your body moving with it. Its passive exercise involving no effort on your part. You lie on your back and the machine undulates your legs and spine like a fish. It will keep your chi flowing.
15 minutes on a chi machine is roughly the equivalent of 1 hour 30 minutes walking. Movement is health. The chi machine is recommended for those too sick to exercise. I bought mine off facebook marketplace for around $100. You may get a good secondhand deal on there or on ebay.
Just check for contraindications and follow the instructions. But you got to get your body moving as convalescence and being inactive can make you very sick. I don't know how much of it is due to that depot or just being a convalescent but I would recommend getting a chi machine as preventative
It will keep you fit if you are too exhausted to exercise.

I can't afford a chi machine at the moment, @Former-Member, but I'll keep it in mind for the future. I have my sport two days a week, and I walk to numerous shopping trips of necessity each week. They keep me active but not as active as once, but then I'm also not as young as once.
I'm pleased to read that it is a widespread side effect, @Former-Member . I will be able to voice my considerations with greater confidence knowing that. Every time I say that I am having this effect or that, I'm looked at by my community nurse as though I would say anything to get off it—so why bother? Of course I want to get off it but I'm also not a liar, having taken great consideration into all possible causes beforehand. And although I don't look it, I feel like I walk like a robot. Trudging along. I don't need this medication and if it isn't helping, it's harming. Power goes to some people's heads.

@Historylover Yes, Neo-parkinsonial issues are a potential problem on these medications. I think the depot did more harm than good in my case. Even after I came off of it the damage was done and I was forced to investigate every healing modality that ever existed...
I saw other sick people who had money to afford healing but I had to research it myself with the help of consumer advocacy on Curezone when there was dialup. During dialup it was the only alternate online healthcare available online I could access. The internet speeds were so slow but the noticeboards were a wealth of info on Curezone. And later on in the piece all kinds of health summits which I watched for free within their time sensitive windows with broadband
I've seen people literally pay tens of thousands of dollars to get well. They may have not had a mental illness and been on our medications but I've encountered some very sick people indeed. Which is why I wanted you to win your case at the tribunal and avoid that depot.
As for chi machines just put it on the back burner for now and look into it when you have some extra cash. I would check contraindications before buying one like heart disease and I think stroke - there may be more contraindications so do your research.
I wish I could lend you use of my chi machine. I had a friend who used to lend me use of hers. I would go to her house and hop on her chi machine when I was able.
I hope you don't get as sick as I did on that depot as it was a long road ahead to heal myself of the iaotrogenic damage.
Look, if people tell you to do more or have expectations of you just tell them you are on a medication that impedes your activity levels and quality of life, period.

I personally think that doctors are addicted to medicating, @Former-Member, and the control and power that accompanies it. Medicating when it is inappropriate and damaging to general health as in this instance is inexcusable. No wonder they cause me to get my back up.

In retrospect would have liked to have sued my clinicians @Historylover but its a losing battle. None of these psychiatrists are held accountable for what they do in the name of "care" I had all kinds of things go down. [edited by moderator]

I couldn't agree more, @Former-Member. Perhaps being sued isn't enough though. Whatever happened to accountability? I remember when there were complaints here, and there, about non-accountability etc. Where have they gone? Have we all simply conceded defeat in this non-winnable situation? Thank goodness for the likes of Niall McLaren—a psychiatrist who has fought the system and its misinformation all his career.
Have a fabulous day!
