@Glisten yes I worked as a volunteer for the Swan Valley & Eastern Region Visitor Centre from its inception for about 7 or so years. It was great because we got to go on famils, meaning we got free tastings at wineries and restaurants. I also got to travel to Sydney for the Caravan and Camping Show one year, as well as the Food and Wine expos at Burswood. I loved it.
I don't drink anymore either so while it's nice to be on its doorstep it really is lost on me these days!
Brag brag but I think our wines are better than Margaret Rivers' 😁

@Shaz51 @TAB @Adge @Oaktree @ENKELI @tonys @Former-Member @StuF @Bill16 and everybody driving through this thread.
Isn’t it great that we woke up this morning?! Another crack at life’s pie 🥧
Today in the West, T-ball will be played at 11am, on a mild day of 36* + 68% humidity.
👏🏼 my grandson running bases with his sweat soaked brain-poacher 🪖 on.
😎 Go Wolves 🐺
The subtle aroma of a win permeates through the breeze.

Hello @TAB just rang BUPA optometrist and am getting ready to have eyes checked and new lenses. Much cheaper going through their official BUPA optometrist. Checked out my insurance policy last week and navigating around the site getting an idea of what is covered and whats not covered. Works out better than going to my previous optometrist.

10 players go out , and one comes back . . The heat fuses em all together. Hey @Glisten ..
Giant greasy meatball. Little arms legs n eyeballs sticking out. A liberal coat of flower will help
get them back in the car. Is that what T ball in 36 C looks like.
Mate. . . I seem to miss the mornings lately. I just sleep and sleep and sleep. Hope that's not the way
it goes. The railway step sleepers to a permanent sleep. . But then I do love the dreams.
So. your setting the pace for the morning walk, beaming the sun into retreat.
Always good to see Glisten.. Brightly presented fly might just land you a new mermaid to see that
old one off. Hey. . ! I wonder if you could carve a mermaid out of soft wood. Bet you could.......... I had one on an old boat once. Wonder what happened to her. Returned to her home on a sunken reef I expect.
We'll meet again soon enough. . .
Hope everyone finds a old comfy rug in the shade. tonys..

@Glisten I hope your grandsons' team won🤗.
We have 40 today and 44 tomorrow and Monday. Yip f#@*&%g ya!
Fortunately I'm on anti-anxiety meds otherwise I'd be panicking about the electricity bill given the air conditioning has been running since 8.30 this morning.
Roll on Autumn!
Stay safe everyone and for my west friends I pray you have means to keep cool
E ❤️

@ENKELI It was a great game. I asked Oscar “what do you think will happen in the game?”
He said “We need 3 and 1 more.”
They tagged 3 out in hat trick. Oscar slides into 3 base and the next ball he and his mate come home. Wolves won! 🗣️
Last game of the season next week (sad face)
Anti anxiety meds are great.
We really need the Freo Doctor in come in.
We still have to get through March.
I wonder if it will be an early winter?
