@tonys I went to 4 venues within 2 blocks. No one had the Tillies on the screen. So came back to the apartment. Soccer is on Channel 10. 0-0 no one has scored.
I have no idea about my future long term. 
I’m 60 now, so maybe I got 20 years left 🤷🏼‍♀️

Get on the State Housing list - got to get out of here. Hate living alone. 
I want to build my own furniture. I got skills.

I can imagine how much fun backpackers had on your farm - sounds like a hoot.

So what did you do to yourself to wind up in hospital? - You don’t have to tell me.

Hey   @Glisten   Mate I'm sorry.    Was hoping you'd raise dust,   level the town,   get arrested ,   and regale us with your adventures  over a coffee.   Doesn't matter,   your back safe and always tomorrow.

No its OK.   No secrets,  and I bartered my ego for  map of the clouds long ago.    Mate  I got burned in a fire long ago when I lived on the streets it Melbourne.   Healed on its own mostly,  but in the process an unusual large growth on my back set up shop unchecked.   About the size of a toaster.  Non malignant. Basically just your average  6 ft 7 inch,  garden variety,   hunchback.  Well  After all these years some  surgeons rose to the challenge.  Freed up my arm and removed ,  said  hump.

Few minor hiccups on the way  but now its a whole new me.    Lot of Physio to come, Maybe a touch up with the angle grinder,  but its one less disability to contend with.

Now...     what do we do with you...   Lets think.    Well my first suggestion to anyone is get a wiz bang or a combi van,   and go west.   There are thousands of single woman travelling around Australia,  driving sugar cain trains,  wheat trucks,  tractors.   piking this n dicing that.  They hook up together,  Travel in groups and mate. . . .  they have a ball and really live.  Oh ,   your 60 you say.  well google

the CMCA  Australia,  and then look for the solo's club.    Mate I have partied and travelled with them  and  lucky to have survived em.     Just an Idea.  Don't right it off just yet.     I had pickers that where over 65.   I travelled with disabilities.   You can do anything mate.  You have the fire in you, I see it brighter than the sun...  Sleep on it my friend.           Take the scenic roads in life ...   tones..

yeah 60 was last year for me, started down public housing path again, luckily had enough from parents after last one went last year to get small house country SA.

My building talents not being used , got swamped with ideas, then go around in circles, now sleep all night and day few days a week seems , well most of each. Got a few basics done with house, insulation in ceiling, ceiling fans, 1 rm had rc a/c already. just not built any gazebos or sheds or outdoor spa areas or 2 metre high front fence to keep strays out etc etc

Well. . .    ok    lets just say it looked liked I had had pinched a toddlers  knapsack and liked wearing it under my shirt at side shows..     Yes ,    I can see it sounds  a bit twilight zone.  Well it,  and a few other

irregularities  in the control room got me the Ndis   and a lot of help. . .  eventually.
