@Former-Member that is good self-care you are doing there 👍🏼

I did a clay mask yesterday @Former-Member ... cleaning out my bathroom cupboard. I just cannot get too invested in looks issues ... part of my jumbled up self esteem issues.
I can do self care around health ... and went to optometrist for special music glasses today ... he was gorgeous again ... and we joked about physics and numbers ... he was very logical about all the issues re choice of sturdy long lasting frames and lenses etc. I pick them up in a few weeks.
@Glisten @Patches59 @TAB Hey Hope you are all going good.
@Historylover Its funny I trust you both and do not feel paranoid about being talked about! Yes there is plenty of work to do ... in the field... send a cooee from me next time you see him.

Thats good @Appleblossom I need new lenses. I am on the government optometry waiting list. They have a clinic about 30 minutes away. I'm just waiting to be called up. The last commercial optometrist tried to rip me off. He knew I was a pensioner so I decided to never go back there again. You have to be so careful. Anyway it was good you did a clay mask. I just do this appearance self care to make me feel better and for a bit of a "lift"

@Appleblossom I am doing fine. Waxed my face. The last of my personal items arrived that I had left at a friend’s place. Wash some clothes, ready for packing and looking forward to flying ✈️home.

@Glisten I can hear your longing to be back home ... it will help to have a spot in familiar place.
@Former-Member If it helps your mood go for it ... I go by the 'good enough' standard ... can dress up for special things, concerts is often all black, churchwear is better than weekday wear. Have plenty clothes now, that I can mix and match ... I am glad I can afford sensodyne toothpaste ... stuff like that. I do alright, but can get funny about being too girly... anyway I am an old maid ... maybe not ... lol
Take care both of you.

Morning @Appleblossom @Former-Member @TAB
yesterday was wet, cold, windy and generally miserable weather.
Fully feeling positive impact of increased level of meds last few days.
Yesterday I had lots of energy, and was out and about almost all day.
Late yesterday arvo I spent consolidating and moving things all into my garage.
leg muscles were so sore when I stopped about 6pm
today sun is out and looks nice. Couple small things to do this morning and will be getting outside again today. Online booking made for removal and disposal of tall, heavy, 15year old corner tv unit. Running on good stress again today, planning on taking as much advantage as possible that my leg muscles and arthritic spine will let me

Thank you for the hello @TAB
I am just back on the forums today.
Slowly catching up on emails which is so so boring.
Have a few thread notifications still.
Not quite sure how that works.
What did you mean when you said
@Sophia1 well your profile is back?
Was my profile closed or blocked?
I had huge problems with it before I went away which was exasperating. I think it had been hacked.
It was supposed to have been resolved.
Aside from that.
In your new home.
Congratulations and a huge home welcoming.
I will write to you from my familiar haunt as this is good morning
meant to be brief?
oops
