When I was younger had more bravado. Did the same thing as you. Walk with purposeful stride in streets after dark.  I used to walk at night in places like Richmond & Collingwood after cafe` meets with friends or with attending groups. My parents used to freak out @TAB. I attended self defence years earlier. Most of women's strength is in the thighs/legs and can overthrow an attacker. I think I may attend a self defence group again for women only.

@MDT  reminds me was at odd, run like govt, prob was govt once bus building place years ago. I wasnt happy then, or that happy with being at any job then I guess. I was breaking records for sickies.

..so .. one day they said, oh you have to go into the office. I though this cant be good..

ok they said time for review re probation, ok here's all reports for all categories, ok Good to very Good .. oh but you had all these days off. We cant see that changing, so we think its time for someone else to have a go..

So of course I went and said goodbye to co workers, packed up and left.

then I remembered the HR person said right back at the start when hired me about oh we tell people they are gone in the morning and if they leave straight away that proves we were right for letting them go ... What a load of BS .. guess they thought they won..

Wow what an amazing real estate agent with good old fashioned service. I hope it can stay that way even with rising inflation. The real estate agent still has to get some kind of return with rising costs. But still an amazing man. I bet he's not turving single mums onto the street or discriminating against first nations people for housing @Appleblossom
