Its really hard getting the disability support pension @Shaz51 I was first put on sickness allowance. Maybe @Former-Member has the right idea with the link she provided. You may be able to get it but they are making it so damned hard now - they are trying to force folk off pensions if anything.
I did have a meeting in Melbourne over a decade ago where they were reviewing pensions and trying to force people off it. There was no way I could work consistently given my health deficits. Prior to chronic fatigue syndrome was working in a supermarket 10 hours a week but that was my limit and had to leave that job because it was near impossible to consistently do.
Anyway you may be lucky. The welfare system is quite difficult to get a foot in the door. They put you through your paces and you really have to come up with something good!!!

Good Job getting on the NDIS. You definitely deserve it. Takes a bit of getting used to, but make it work for you.
