I would love to give it a try but its too risky given my gluten intolerance. They did not say yes or no so I have no idea if the things they used in their recipe come from ingredients with gluten or processed on equipment with gluten. They just gave a list with no guarantee, I will give the other people a go. I know you would have liked me to sample it but I can't @TAB

I think fish (no red meat?) is just required for Good Friday @TAB 😄
Same here, I was definitely not brought up in a religious household.
We ate whatever we had available. Luckily we lived on a farm, so had good vege patch and a decent orchard.
Always had chickens running about and the odd young rooster waiting for us to lop his head off to throw him in the pot for soups or casseroles. And as part of my dads salary we got an old fattened sheep a fortnight to butcher and feed a family of 5.
Had it pretty good really. But fish was scarce, unless it was out of a can. Then it was either sardines, which I hated (and still do), or tuna, which was a treat.
