I'm not up on the conversation @Appleblossom but re Jordan Peterson - I started to watch a youtube interview with him last week but, to be honest, I found him high on his ego. I try not to be influenced by others' opinions too much. We all can only give our own opinions gained from our individual experiences and observations. They can't cover all eventualities for everyone. Sometimes they overlap with others and that's nice.

Hearing you and agreeing about being happy with some overlap. @Historylover 

Just got interested in JP cos of son and the whole shape of the politics in our family.  Trying to understand young men, and the nature of the contemporary debate.  I have actually leaned over enough in son's direction and need to reclaim my space as a female and a woman.

I watched an interview with him JP where he was deliberately talking over and not leaving an opening for a highly qualified female academic, while "gloating" about the competitive edge men take over women in work scenarios. It was not the overly rude one that catapulted him to fame.  He is too emphatic and generally aggressive for me ....I do not like all his religious and symbolic discussions.  I believe they ought be conducted in a more balanced manner. ... tho I have learned a little and watched quite a few videos.

I used to get turned off a lot of musos who I met who thought the sun shone where there ought be none.

Ah well @greenpea He could have worse imaginary friends ....how is your boy going with the removal of his "things"? Its not the same one is it?
