Its still warm in Melbourne after the heatwave last week @MDT but its great having aircon during hot evenings. I only use it if I have to but this summer was the most comfortable having it installed. Not long until autumn. Good to see you working out and staying healthy. I have to get back into walking but the weather has been very hot.

It's hard to work out when it's hot @Former-Member
Life is weird atm for me
Yeah I've been doing some deep thinking and soul searching today too. Has been quite intense but I believe it was worth it.

Here is one of the most successful trumpeters in the world. I heard him on ABC National. I really like this song, its very evocative of the culture and current times in Beirut. The song is slow but builds up after 8:00 minutes. Its worth watching the whole way through.

Looks like my burst of workof nearly 3 weeks out of 4 is over. Knee that had been bothering me finally gave up yesterday, so am home indefinitely now. Work had just put me on fulltime by happenstance, well, I agreed to it, so now no income etc. Anyway nice to be home again. Drs optimistic, but problem hasnt been properly diagnosed yet and wont be until get MRI which by sounds of it might take a month to get in lol
Anyway have a few days worth of pain meds and my new pastime is to try and work out exactly which movements cause pain and how to avoid them lol.
Got time to fix super and covid check in apps now plus try and do my second food delivery , well that's if there is anything in supermarkets still. I got a big bottle of generic p@nadol osteo at chemist yest for $7 lol, only allowed to buy 1 item, so got 100, not 20 like at supermarket ha ha

@TAB hey mate, so disappointing to hear your news about your knee. Well I guess all you can do is stay home and rest up for now. It must be so crushing to know that work is now out of reach for you despite your efforts to try and kickstart things with your walking exercise. I know I would be upset about things. Anyway you got us here on SANE! I think you did well with the pain med btw, BARGAIN. I guess you would be formulating plan B now. Sometimes life just happens but I am very sorry you have to face this new hardship. Have you given much thought to the knee audio? Nudge nudge 💟

yes, Plan B is my last Plan A I think @Former-Member lol , I have seen a few loopholes in system that I can use for the next bit. I just said injury was pre existing , so they loved that, but to be honest, it did happen at work, just not on this job, was a while back, should have reported it then, could have had 6 months off with pay lol.
Anyway. Think the plan atm is to just pretend the last couple weeks didnt happen, except for learning about what body is and isnt capable of. Will just say am not fit for work indefinitely until I just disappear/start more study etc.
I can't see them chasing me to go back to work, just opens them up to more risk, plus am damaged goods now, and they will see my dodgy medical results from last october in a new light now things that they barely accepted before now have bad knee added to mix, so just not worth it I would say
oh, and sorry, cant find that link that you sent re knees
