I've got to go to the local shops for some minor food shopping- milk, bread, etc- and I'm avoiding the shopping centres where there's a Big W, Kmart or Target. It's strictly Woolies and Coles for me today! I've also got some relaxing knitting to do and then get ready to watch the traditional Carols by Candlelight on TV which I always do being a Melbourne girl and having grown up with it.

It's a lovely day here in Melbourne - a day out of the box after so much indifferent and stormy weather these last weeks

I have been waiting for a support worker to come and do my ironing - which is hard for me with my trick shoulder - yet actually - I would prefer to deal with this on my own today - I have had a busy week and feel like taking the day quietly.

Actually I have just had a list of medical appointments this week - Pain Specialist, Dentist, Doctor and then COVID booster - that was a busy week. I am amazed that so many people are crowding to get out of the state and spend time in shopping centres - but we all feel differently I guess - I am taking my time getting out - though I am seeing my daughter and her husband for lunch tomorrow

Enjoy your day knitting etc - and I wish you the best for tomorrow and hope you do have a Happy and Healthy Christmas Day
