Re: Good Morning!
@MDT so glad youre feeling somewhat better. Its good to be heard without judgement in a compasionate holding space while you work things through. I hope your Sunday has some measured improvement. I'm going to cleanse my energy field soon because of the erratic energy around the eclipse

Re: Good Morning!
Hi @Former-Member I can't find how to create a new post in the lived experience part of the forum, have been trying for a while, read the New Thread in the guidelines, I think thats what its called, still no luck. I tried going in to forums, then clicking lived experience forum, then the topic and cant find new discussion.

Re: Good Morning!
Hello @The-Hams
A few thoughts on Work, Study and Perseverance.
The thing about any job, initially, to paraphrase the words of the former President, John F. Kennedy, (USA),
“It is not what the job can give you that is important, but what you can give to the job.”
When you have put yourself into the job, then the job will give you the returns.
It is very similar to studying for a course; unless you are actually looking for and seeking the content, your mind will not be receptive to whatever course content is available and provided, and even more so to material that may be available from outside the immediate syllabus of the course. If you are truly seeking the information from the available resources, you will gain from the work, study, or course, far more than might, initially, have appeared possible.
If we have joined a course for a specific reason, and the course provider does not give the content in quantity and/or quality, it is up to us to use the course as a foundation and seek for the information we require from a wider field. While we may say that the provider has not given us the content that we may have expected, it is up to us whether we simply sit back and say the provider has not given us the content that we required, without attempting to use the course as a foundation for further research that will meet our own expectations and anticipated needs.
When you are acknowledged as a person who seeks knowledge and fulfilment, others will be so much more prepared to put what you seek in front of you, for your benefit and by extension, for their benefit as well. So, while their offering of material and resources to you, may not necessarily be offered purely from an altruistic standpoint, the returns often accrue to you in any case. Despite, what I believe is a common mis-perception, people are actually encouraged by our behaviour to improve their own performance. That often feeds back to us in ways that can significantly improve our own position, often returning multiples in return, to us, of our own inputs. From economic and knowledge standpoints, those are good returns. However, those returns are not available to us until we have invested our own effort.
There is an expression, which might sound harsh, but that I believe is very apt in many life situations, including my own at times, that states:
"There is none so blind as one who will not see".
If a person makes a deliberate choice, or by default, chooses not to see, no-one can make such a person see what they have no wish to see or acknowledge, even though it may be right in front of them.
There can be any amount of food on the table, but if one constantly keeps “tape over the mouth”, that person will receive no nourishment.
It is determined by you, your perception, your awareness, your wish, desire, hunger for opportunity that determines what you receive in return.
Much of the effort that you give, and the returns that you subsequently receive, may provide you with another, possibly more significant benefit, a reduction of the effects of other mental health issues that you currently face and experience.
With My Very Best Wishes
