Hello @StuF
Thank you for your comment and greeting. I've still been around and connecting with people. However, some of the people, with whom I used to correspond fairly frequently, have left, taken, or are taking "leave". I have noticed less activity in areas where I was most often accustomed to posting and responding. This may simply be part of the cycle of activity on the forum.
I hope that I have not contributed to the wish of others to be absent. However, that might just be a statement showing my own insecurity. In the forum and, in line with its function and purpose, I endeavour to be as open, honest and true, in my statements of thoughts and feelings, as I can, to other members and to myself.
Sometimes, I am concerned that other members may find my posts to be too long and detailed for their liking. But, then I think, that if the content, length, presentation and detail of my posts, is not to other members', or another member's liking, they can simply move on, and seek that which appeals to them more.
What I have just written is a statement of my thoughts and feelings at various times, quite independent of your comments, @StuF . I have just "pinched the opportunity" to state them in response to the inclusion in your comments, of the reference to "large (and useful!) posts!". I assure you that I appreciate your reference to "useful" and consider the reference to “large”, to hopefully refer also, to being as complete as possible. I hope that my posts and comments are so, for you and others at various times. Often, what I write is also helpful to me, in a cathartic sense and in making clear and ordered statements, on various issues, that may be of interest to and, or concern for others and me as well.
With Much Appreciation for Your Comment and Greeting, @StuF
and
My Very Best Wishes
@HenryX

I'll admit that sometimes I need a long run up (as in fast bowler) to approach your posts, but they're always worth it 🙂

Hi @MDT
Biscuit sounds good! How do you take your coffee? (I'm a cappucino person meself). Not that it matters, just curious 🙂
8 out 10 cats (and countdown) is awesome. So sad about Sean Lock. I only came to know him in the last year or so, but damn he was funny. Big loss 😞
Thank heavens for YouTube
There Is a lot of hurt going on, but that doesn't lessen your pain, I'm sure. What works for you? Or at least, what Has worked for you?
You've been having troubles with work and study- any closer to resolutions?
I'm not so great on suggestions, especially when I don't know you well.
One thing I read recently- if you feel like screaming, then do it. As loud as you can...
...disclaimer: I have Not done this myself, but I can see it being useful. Seriously.
