I hope you're having a great afternoon being ANZAC Day today. I'm about to have my 5pm cup of tea (after the chaos at the local supermarket, it is going to be very much savoured and enjoyed, not to mention well deserved!) but I have been doing some long overdue uni study on communication that I have been putting off due to my irrational fear that I thought it would be too hard and therefore, I've had trouble with motivation! The silly thing is, I've actually enjoyed the stuff I've done today and want to continue with it which is good as I have an assessment due so in that case, I'm going to have to continue studying and reading about the stuff from today! Bizarre huh?
Anyway, that's been my afternoon. I hope yours has been enjoyable. Maybe you've been watching the Collingwood vs Essendon AFL match or have even attended it if you've been in Victoria or are going to the Melbourne Storm NRL match. Or have been having a relaxing day with family and friends if that is possible. I understand that it might not be if you are currently in the period of lockdown in Perth and the Peel region of WA which in that case, I hope you are making the most of your imposed conditions. Believe me, I truly understand due to experiencing Melbourne's 17 week lockdown last year🥰.
Gotta go since the kettle gas just boiled and I have a cup of tea to make🫖!

Hey @Judi9877 thanks for the tag, great job getting cracking on that studying, and what a bonus to have actually enjoyed it--who knew that could happen?! Studying--or school in general--was never my strong suit, which periodically haunts me in adult life as I have to learn a lot of sh*t I should already know.
Spent my afternoon trying not to fall asleep on the couch--didn't try that hard, got comfy and closed my eyes. Then started on cooking up a lasagna for dinner which worked out well

Hi there everyone! Late afternoon here in Melbourne and I've just finished knitting a beanie and am now onto my daily afternoon cup of tea! Ah! Nice and refreshing! Besides, it's a good way to ease into a Saturday night after a busy afternoon taking my housemate shopping, including the regular Bunnings bbq sausage lunch that she always participated in. It helps me mentally- the tea that is and bri gs back nice memories of my mum enjoying her cups of tea.
Have a great arvo!

Good afternoon @MDT @saltandpepper @TAB @Shaz51 @Adge @frog @Former-Member @Daisydreamer and all forumites here! It's a cold and wet arvo here in Melbourne so I'm knitting a blanket for charity in male colours using a new type of pattern I found on the charity website. I'm also having my 5pm cup of tea so feel free to join me as I relax into Monday night!
