Re: Far and Away
OK here @Former-Member ❤️
Mr shaz was breathless at our job this morning, only 2 hours
At home took his blood pressure twice and it was very high
So we have a appointment with the doctor tomorrow afternoon
Saw my mum this afternoon, she was OK but she wants a sunspot removed on the face just under her eye

Re: Far and Away
Glad youre doing ok @Shaz51
However that is concerning regarding Mr Shaz' blood pressure and feeling breathless.
Sounds like a really good idea to see the doc, and I hope Mr Shaz is ok till then.
Good news your mum is ok, and I hope the sunspot can be seen to for her 🌺
Your resilience is an inspiration Shaz 💜

Re: Far and Away
Howdy @Shaz51, lovely to see you 😊
Aww poor Mr Shaz, that's really scary! Is he doing better tonight?
Hope your mum can get her lil sun spot sorted - are they worried it could be cancerous?

Re: Far and Away
@Shaz51 fingers crossed for him!
Aye true, that is perhaps an odd request for them! Do you know why your mum wants it removed? Like is it an appearance thing, or is she worried about it being dangerous? And then I guess the question is how costly would it be, and would the benefits outweigh the costs - both money-wise and in terms of complications during recovery and other such concerns. It's a tough one for sure!

Re: Far and Away
Yep, along with you, I hope he is alright till the doc can review what's happening @Shaz51 💜
Ah; yes unfortunately I have heard the same thing being said about our elderly people regarding procedures and treatments being not considered due to their age 😞
I wondered if a roaming dermatologist (if they have a visiting specialist) might like to review it regarding cryotherapy instead of a surgical approach? 🤔🙂
I hope you dont mind I put that into the ether, and I wondered your thoughts..? 💜🙂

Re: Far and Away
It is an appearance thing @Jynx
Just under her eye on the cheek bone which she bumps it and sometimes bleeds
Yes complications that it makes her dementia worse , or a big scar

Re: Far and Away
For me @Former-Member , @Jynx
I wonder if they can just shave the part above the skin 🤔 would make a difference
I will wait and see what her doctor says and hoping mum will forget about it
