Hi @Pepsimax 👋 💕
The self-isolating is so important for as much as we can do it ..... it helps to protect the essential workers who are still operating out in the community. It reduces the virus' ability to travel.
How did your rest day go today @Zoe7 ? I am glad things have slowed down for you in terms of the marking and paperwork, and the classroom is operating a bit more on the fun side.

It wasn't such a rest day as I had planned @Faith-and-Hope Had a visit from my mother so delayed my trip to my sister's to see her new kitten. I didn't leave until mid afternoon and had to stop at the pet shop for some things for my sister. It isn't as easy now for her to do that herself as there are no pet shops close to where she lives. Her kitten is absolutely gorgeous ...and a little devil ...he wanted to play the whole time I was there so of course I accommodated him He is the one I wanted to get but he is at a good home with my sister. He is certainly going to keep her on her toes but for now he is in one room only whilst he gets used to them and his new home.
Haven't been feeling great today but I managed to get all the washing done and a few school things sorted. while I watched some iview. I will have to do some work tomorrow but I am not stressing too much as it is likely I won't have many kids so not planning on doing a lot with them. We will stick to our usual morning routines and then see how the day goes ...possibly do some art and let their imaginations run wild 👍
I didn't get the grass mowed so that is a job for tomorrow (before expected rain in the afternoon). If I am feeling okay I mght even tackle some of the weeding. It is likely to be a pretty long night for me tonight - things catching up to me a bit but going to take it as it comes and hope for at least a little sleep.
I hope the unwanted visit from WH wasn't too stressful for you - been thinking about you with that on your plate all day Hon. Also hoping you found a little motivation to do some of your uni work. One foot in front of the other hey and you ill get there 👍 Tobes and Cat send cuddles to you and Nelly and some extra big hugs from me ...and of course a lot of love

WH stayed outside the door and I was in my room with Nelly, so I didn't have to see him @Zoe7 .... could hear his voice, and that was unsettling enough.
Enough of him !!
I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well tonight. You are very much in my thoughts. You have been burning the candle at both ends again for a while now, so it will start to give you a bit of a backwash when you start to slow down again, which is happening now.
I am glad you got to play with the kitten ..... similar colouring to Cat, huh ? Does he remind you of her ?

@Faith-and-Hope The new kitten is ginger and white so very different to Cat. He is sooo adorable with his little squishy face.

Hi Hon 🥰
I saw the one you posted earlier (this one hasn't come through yet). I must be remembering Cat's colouring wrong .... I thought she was white with creamy colouring, and I took his ginger to be creamy too.

I am glad WH stayed outside but understand how much just the sound of his voice would have been unnerving for you @Faith-and-Hope I so wish you would never have to see or hear him
I have been going full on for weeks and although this week has been a little easier in terms of the work needed to prepare it has been quite draining with everything else going on around us. Unexpectedly I have been handling it better than most and have actually been super surprised at how calm I have been but my Mum's visit today unsettled me. It wasn't anything major - I had just had lunch before she came and gave some to her - then she proceeded to eat a little more from the pan - that crossed a line for me and I told her so quite forcefully. The remainder of what was left I gave to her otherwise I would have had to throw it out - she does not get some boundaries ...especially in the current climate.
