More like a later-life crisis in this case @Faith-and-Hope - and either way with these kids or in the future - totally unfathomable I would not put anything past him though as he certainly isn't the person you married and has been living his own life separate to you for a long time. I actually cannot get my head around any of this - and that is because I so wish none of this was happening for you. It really does break my heart for you Hon and I can only imagine how difficult it is for you. All I can do is be here for you and continue to love and support you with whatever you need

Hey @Faith-and-Hope Thought I'd give you an update on my day to hopefully bring a smile to your face.
I had 12 today so we had a 'fun Friday'. We did our normal literacy work in the morning and then I gave them all time on the ipads to work on some literacy and numberacy sites that we have sent home for them while they are not at school. Some also chose to do ther research on their animals and one worked with me again on his story. I then put on a video for any of them to watch in between their work. To my surprise most kept working but had one eye on the video.
One parent messaged me to say her child loved 'fun Friday' and was so glad I was his teacher ...that of course made me smile. It wasn't the conventional day at school but we are in non-conventional times so it seemed appropriate that those there actually enjoyed their day.
I also was given a small envelope (student made) from my boy who took the class the other day. Inside were a lot of sunflower seeds. His mum said he spent ages making the envelope, decorating it and pulling the sunflower apart to get the seeds - so now everytime I see a sunflower (or hopefully grow them myself) I will think of him.
After schoolI also received a lovely bunch of flowers. One of my girls asked her mum to get them for me for looking after her these last couple of weeks. I felt terrible accepting them as I know that mum has lost her job for the meantime and is not an Australian citizen therefore not able to apply for centrelink. She assured me that their family will be okay but it is that type of kindness even in the face of overwhelming uncertainty that has really shone through at our school in particular.
I am going to share a pic of them here for you as they are also in your colours and I thought of you straight away...

I can't believe I have been here for 4 years now @Zoe7. I still don't know how I would have come through them without the forums. It's so special to have you here, and there are still others around from back when I first came too. It really does feel like a forum family.
