Hi everyone .... 👋💕
Thinking of y'all too @Snowie @Former-Member @Sans911 @BlueBay @eth ..,, anyone else around .....
Missed you this time @Zoe7 🦋💕
I didn't get back to sleep, but sneaked our early while the cafe was empty and grabbed a coffee, with hand sanitiser ..... and brought home some breakie for D2 cos I can't take her out. Will put the football on for her shortly.
I am cleaning up by utilising what is here that hasn't been put to proper use @Zoe7. I have access to some finance but settlement around our separation and eventual divorce might be some time away yet, and WH is not sharing properly .... so I have placed an order for a new essential piece of furniture (the kids want to keep the one I had already bought for the art space) so I only needed to pay the deposit for now as it will take months to get here from overseas, as imports are affected by COVID-19.
There is so much to sort out, I will be working on it for all that time anyway.
Our classes have been cancelled for next week, and will be based online after that, so I am taking a time-out from my study commitments to find "my" house within all this rubble. I think I will start by taking everything out of boxes and bags and laying it all out on the floor like a swap-meet, to try to take away the feeling of living in a rubbish tip ☹️

It is good to have the footy back - in whatever form it takes now and into the next few months @Faith-and-Hope D2 would be happy it is back 👍
I am pleased you got out for a little while and had some time to yourself this morning. It will certainly get harder and harder to find that solitude with everything happening both for you personally and in the wider community as some places begin to close.
It is great that you have no classes this week and that you may be able to continue the course more online while this all passes. I don't know how long schools will stay open but if the government correspondence is anything to go by then we are not going to close in the short term - especially in Tassie. That does not bother me at all - more than happy to teach whatever kids we have there - it is the ones that aren't there that will suffer as we have been told we are not required to organise anything for them if parents choose to withdraw their kids from school. I have set up a few online sites for those kids (and the ones still at school) to work through though so they don't get too far behind.
F#$%&ing WH - he is not being at all fair to you and that makes me really angry for you. No doubt he is spending your joint money on his 'bit' as well which just makes it all the more upsetting. I hope he gets what is coming to him Hon - but the best revenge is for you to live your own life and wipe him out of it as much as you can once all the financials and legals are done. For now it is still those baby steps and doing what you can to get through ...and sorting out you 'home' is a great start.
I was going to order some things online for school next pay but they might not get here in enough time - like your new furniture - so will have to maybe look elsewhere. That is one of the downsides of living in Tassie - not always able to get what we want from the locals shops ...but I'll have a search around in the holidays and see what I can find.
Think another sleep is on the cards soon - dozed off when I layed down earlier then cooked lunch and did a little sorting out of school stuff - so pretty sore again from standing and sitting ...might see what footy is on myself and if I fall asleep then so be it.
Hope your afternoon is going well and we can catch up later 💜💙💚🧡💛😘

Some of my western baby dragons rang @Zoe7 @and helped sort out access to the game on tv, so D2 got to watch the Sydney / Adelaide game 👍
And I have a sorted out kitchen, except for a mountain of plastic bags in an assortment of sizes ...... tidy-up hack - flatten them out, fold lengthwise, roll them up, one after another into the same roll, and secure with an elastic band ..... takes only a few seconds, much tidier in the cupboard, ready to re-use wherever needed (ie, keeping a roll in the car)
I have made rolls in different widths for different uses (ie the little ones get used in the bathroom bin as liners).
Big bags are rolled up on their own and one goes in my handbag, so I don't get stuck at the supermarket without one.

lol - I do the same thing with bags @Faith-and-Hope and have a stash of different sizes rolled together in the kitchen drawer and some in the car too
It is great D2 got to see one game - and it was a close game. I saw a little of it in between sleeping. We play tomorrow (both women's and men's teams) so I will no doubt be watching both. I can do some of my work that doesn't need a lot of concentration at the same time.
How are your western baby dragons doing Hon? It must be hard for them too being so far away from you

Sounds like you have been very industrious @Faith-and-Hope . And Im glad D2 got to watch the footy. I also watched the Swans vs Crows match. The Swans were surprise winners, so of course, I was a happy Sherry.
Any plans for tomorrow?
Sherry 💕

I think my western ones are generally staying distracted @Zoe7 ..... getting in with every day and trying not to overthink things. We are all traumatised to some degree by WH's new "lifestyle choices" and "alternative value system", and trying to just make it through the giant backwash until it passes over us and we can see what the collateral damage is.
I went for a really long walk yesterday, instead of taking public transport to run a whole series of errands, so I could get on top of things enough to stay in all this week, pretty much ..... but it's catching up on me now - in a good way - I have kept nodding off while posting. Think I need to head to bed, so next time I nod off I am in the right place ..... 😏
