 I was managing a regional MP’s office when the news broke that our world still existed without the Starman.

I informed the MP. We immediately had IT issues, closed the office and went to the pub 25 metres away.

There was only 3 Bowie songs on the jukebox, they got played repeatedly for the next 3 hours.

took me back to when I was teaching.. at the end of one semester (final classes before exams) some of the students were playing this loud in the lab after break, flash mob style, when I came back - late! as usual - from dinner… 

it was hilarious - they were singing “she’s a brainiac, BRAINIAC!” and pointing at me..🤭
…very very touching, and something I’ll never forget 💜☺️🌺
