We adopted our cat Marmalade from the RSPCA on 3 December 2023. She is 9 years old and is just the loveliest cat. However she has an annoying trait. From about 5am she tries to wake us up to feed her and let her out. She goes outdoors during the day but we keep her in at night. She looks a bit cross but she is a happy cat. Always with her humans. She follows us around the house.

Thanks for the tag @Shaz51 🙌😀
This is an image that always makes me laugh at the immense curiosity of cats, and how they have no curiosity filter at all 😁

Thanks @Shaz51 @PizzaMondo
I do love her very much. She has fitted in really well to our household and it feels as if she has always lived with us. In reality we have only had her 2 months. We spoil her rotten and she has a very nice life although she told me she would prefer an air conditioner on hot days. We have pet insurance in place and in just another month she will be fully covered for illness. At the moment she is covered for accidents. I think the waiting time for cruciate ligaments is 6 months though. I only qualified for the lowest cover because she is over 9 years old so I will have to consider that next time I adopt. She was meant to be part of our family though and I am glad we chose each other. When they opened the little cubicle she was in at the RSPCA she nuzzled in for a cuddle. She was saying pick me. So we did. We decided it would be nice to give an older cat a chance as most people are looking for kittens or young cats. She was meant to be and it was fate that brought us together.

@Shaz51 @Former-Member @Oaktree @PizzaMondo This is Asami Puss, who I've only had for 3 weeks.
This is the first time that I've brought home an adult cat (instead of a kitten).
It's been a difficult adjustment process, as she's skittish & easily scared - goes & hides under table, et.
