Very pretty @Former-Member I can't imagine threading my hair through beads to do that! That looks very difficult.
Your journal is an artwork in itself @Bubbles3
Started another shower cloth last night, this one is for my flat mate. It's a nice small project I can take with me today to keep me occupied while waiting for them at the doc too. So it works for me right now.
Craft hugs to you all. (is that a thing? can it be a thing?)

That bootie is simply gorgeous @CheerBear I've seen the patterns on Ravelry and have done a trial of the Crocodile stitch, it's so effective on those boots. That yarn is superb too. Thank you for your lovely comments too.
Are you going to try to match the yarn changes ont he next one or just let it fall where it will? Your work is beautiful CheerBear, really even. What is that yarn if I may ask?
I need to reward myself with something a wee bit special after the day I've had, which has followed the week of horror, and that is the first thing I've seen that might tempt me.
I'm making the vest out of an acrylic yarn in multi coloured fawn to brown shades, I got it and a sister colour in mulberries for shawls, but then I decided I didn't want another shawl, so decided to do this vest. I'll 'iron the life out of the acrylic' to set it when it's done. (can't use the technical term for that) that way it won't stretch out of shape and can be washed in the machine too.
I was like that with 'special' clothes, like they were 'too good' to wear, then i decided to just wear 'em, that's what I made 'em for! LOL
Oh, my list of things I want to make! Just keeps on getting bigger. It's not even like that bath mat was very big, in the scheme of big things, I think it just coincided with all those other endings to be honest.
I sewed more than crocheted the baby and kiddie things I think. Did crochet around face washers and stuff like that for baby gifts and such. I sewed pretty much all their clothes for many years, even little sandals for the girls. Living in the outback was a creative blessing in some ways. Big town living now is so different, and online shopping, how I love it.
I'm so glad I can make someone smile @CheerBear and @Former-Member (I'm still giggling about threading hair through beads ... )
I might try a hair wrap now Taya, how cool would that look in old lady waist length gray hair! I'll have to think about that, but if it stays for months even with washing .... I'll probably chicken out though.
Hello @Snowie I'll pop across and check out your thread soon @Bubbles3
Now that it's a thing Craft Hugs for everyone! hope all your crafty things are bringing you comfort and joy.
