@Shaz51 you're quite right lovely. The Bible doesn't state anything about not eating meat on Good Friday.
It started as a tradition of observing that Jesus gave up His flesh on that day for us so to observe that, some Christians gave up eating red meat as a sacrifice for all that Jesus sacrificed for us.
Whether we do or don't eat red meat on Good Friday it doesn't detract from us sharing a love of The Saviour and Our Lord

@ENKELI I don't know much about lent or passover, but I do know that people in my church call the Tuesday before lent "pancake Tuesday" because apparently because according to google it's a way to use up the eggs, milk and butter, the more rich fatty foods, also apparently called shrove Tuesday.
Where this originated will require more research.
