Welcome Joeblue, I read your Thread Intro, if you choose to visit us here in CT, we can encourage you Spiritually, & Emotionally. I myself have Anxiety, & Panic Attacks, & without my relationship with GOD & HIS Word I would never cope. JESUS Disciples all had imperfections, & Thomas had MHI, he doubted & had bad thoughts, & bad nerves. Yet GOD chose him to serve, JESUS CHRIST.
GOD wants us all healed, yet in HIS eyes, we are perfect, & healed, & whole. I believe we need to see ourselves as HE see's us. I am still a work in progress, yet I will not give up, no way. HE is my Strength, my JOY .

I talk to ABBA Father, in prayer, & I trust in HIM, & HIS Word. I copied & pasted this part of an article, it may have an answer for you, or some help from, GODS Word. 🙂
4. My prospect: The Lord will deliver me so that I may give thanks to Him in the company of the righteous (vv. 6b-7).
“Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. Bring my soul out of prison, so that I may give thanks to Your name; the righteous will surround me, for You will deal bountifully with me.”
Having thought about God as his refuge and portion, David now moves from despair to confident hope.
He knows that he is weak, but his God is stronger than any enemies. So by faith he looks ahead to the time when he will give thanks to God for rescuing him, surrounded by God’s people.
If nothing changes for me after I ask GOD to help me, then I believe that I am not trapped. I am here because at the time, its for my good, to make me stronger, in GOD, & in myself. AMEN!

I'm happy that you like GODS promises to us, through HIS Word, if you put it to practice in your daily life, you will cope better when you start to get in the, bad moods, & stinking thinking. You can give it all to GOD in prayer, believing by Faith, the HE has the best for you, & that you are a, positive work in progress! 🙂
I am in a terrible amount of body pain, today, & this evening. It maybe from doing too much, & irritating my joints, & muscles. I have a GP visit to morrow, maybe I need something extra for the pain, not too sure, will accept any help that I can get, Eude!
I'm going to try & sleep very soon, I'm warn out & can't handle watching TV any longer. Talk/type to morrow, Eude, thanx for your company!
