Hey @Phoenix_Rising, so glad you are being celebrated! You are indeed super-duperly awesome cool. Not to mention a giant asset to the forum community. I second that emotion: you rock!

Awwwww thank you @Mazarita. Your comment made me super giggle because I actually do rock quite often.
@Zoe7 Have you been spying on me through my webcam or something? Yes, I do occassionally sometimes often struggle with things said in Forum Land. But that's ok, it gives me lots of chances to practice my distress tolerance skills.
You definitely can speak turtle. I watched this today: http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/australian-story/NC1701Q033S00 It is about Tony Attwood who is recognised as the world leader in ASD. At one point he describes himself as an interpreter who interprets between aspies and neurotypicals. That is very much what K did for me as I navigated the challenge of dealing with my dissertation supervisor. It was like she could explain the whole world to me...and that is why I am still grieving for her two years on. Super big thank you for being able to speak turtle @Zoe7.

I love the occasionally sometimes often struggle line @Phoenix_Rising super made me giggle. I can imagine your little turtle eyes nearly popping out of your head and your shell rising from the pressure built up with your frustration as you read some things.I now have an image of you in this scenario that I am DEFINITELY going to have to create as a visual lol I will check out that ABC link a bit later (night data is cheaper!!!)

I watched that show @Phoenix_Rising in a deserted country pub with only the licensee for company.
Annoyed he had bought in a temperance town!
I saw Tony Attwood quite a few years ago at a local community centre at a seminar when I was thinking that way for my son, but I do believe we are all on the spectrum, but do not want to detract from the difficulties and loneliness. Son's psych at the time hinted both his parents were likely contenders ...
Love the tea cosy @Faith-and-Hope

Just seeing this thread now and just wanted to pass on my super duper congratulations to our own resident turtle @Phoenix_Rising! Would your shell be beige by chance?

@Queenie Giggle. Nah, my shell is of the regular green variety. One day I really must ask one of those fashion-focused people what goes with green.

Perhaps red @Phoenix_Rising? Or in keeping with oceanic colours, a nice blue could go with your green shell?
I am no fashionista by any means (as you can plainly see ROFL š )
