There's been so much wild weather lately hasn't there @Shaz51?

Was very hot here too, I think I got a bit sunburnt yesterday but luckily it wasn't a bad one. I went into the city for the start of Melbourne's Midsumma festival which was nice, and then met up with my brother to go to one of our favourite local restaurant/bar which we just heard is closing at the end of the month 😪 

You've reminded me that my floors are well overdue for a clean, maybe I'll try to do them in the evening when the temperature goes down a little

I have Firefly and the movie Serenity on DVD, and my brother and I also have all seasons of Buffy.

@Shaz51 sorry to hear hubby is not well, I hope you have adequate cooling. The valley of the swans is reaching 45 today according to BOM. The F16 has been on since 0730 so it's nice inside but my little box I call a house is a first home owners' standard with no insulation and proper air con. 

Can't believe you had a storm yesterday, we had rain and 29 on Friday I think it was. I can't wait for summer to be over!

I have you and hubby in my prayers, I hope your week improves greatly xo

@ENKELI Totally agree with you Buffy is fantastic, also definitely enjoyed Serenity and Dollhouse, but I don't rewatch them like I do Buffy. I need to watch Angel all the way through next. I've seen the first few seasons a few times but never finished it

@Ru-bee Like you, I want to re-watch Angel as I missed the last couple of seasons too. I love the humour the writers put in to all of Whedons' work.

I don't think I saw Dollhouse, reading the synopsis though I am going to see if I can find it.

Happy watching, I have the TV on for background noise at the moment while I follow up on emails and job hunt. It's 45 degrees here in my part of the valley of swans in Perth. I almost downed a litre of water earlier but I am thankful for my F16 - my ancient air conditioner that sounds like an F16 fighter jet when it starts up. Once it's on though it is pretty quiet. Or I may have become used to the noise!!
