Ach, I am so sorry that you were never put first. We all deserve having someone who wants to make us a priority. I guess sometimes we gotta be that person for ourselves. But I imagine that that's what you've been doing!! Not sure if you're familiar with the term 'parentification'? Cos it sounds like that's what you may have been experiencing, so the idea of having to always be the one to provide for your own needs would be exhausting. 

Indeed!! So long as the jokes aren't 'punching down' as they say, making light out of the darkness is a super valuable thing!

I was out all day today. Certainly was hot!!! Went to the movies in the late afternoon so it was lovely in there. Sorry your room is so hot. We currently have windows open because the air outside is nice and cool. Another hot one tomorrow.

Well electricity was cut in my area [edited by moderator] yesterday. I'm in 6th floor but I could only run up and down the stairs once yesterday because it was very very warm. 

 

My ex-husband made me these earrings as a wedding gift. 

My tummy still really hurts so I got a lot of loving. I went and got nails done. Wow it was a wonderful experience. 

Expensive. But I like clear nails with a little bit of sparkle. 

I got 2 boxes in the mail. Incredible. I got towels for my sons for Christmas. 2 each and one olive set for my youngest son. 

I'll need to wrap all that up.

My unit looks like it's got a few piles of  big beach towels all through my tiny loungeroom. yes, I seem to purchase the same gift for most people in my life so this year I have gotten beach towels And bath towels.
