@PeppyPatti I don’t even understand why they have gone about it in such a strange way.

My surgeon just took the whole gallbladder out. I spent 4 days in hospital with a drain to remove digestive fluids.

When that slowed to a reasonable level out came the drain.

Gallbladder and contents go to pathology to test for cancer.

Done ✅

Why are your surgeons doing it piecemeal it’s stupid.

Yes the pain is almost as bad as childbirth. But a bulging back disc sitting on a root nerve is worse.

and that’s all my stories.

no furbabies now, my last was a kelpie/ridgeback cross who passed about six years ago aged 14. great friend, and something of a Houdini. I do not even own a teddy bear anymore, does that count?

The doctors have their checklists they need to keep ticking and Key Performance Indicators to meet, I understand if they're not as holistic as you or I would like. (My best friend and my brother are both doctors, I should know.)

But I have to admonish you on one thing:

Despite your 57 years, you're acting like a teenager. In my humble opinion of course lol.

I'm almost half your age, I shouldn't have to put on my teacher's hat and admonish you this way.

I read the admonition and was like “what was that about? Why do I have to act my age?” 
Anyway I went back and figured it out. I am nearly 54. In January I will be. Feeling old! But glad to be doing life.
