@PeppyPatti You're definitely not being silly! Not by a long shot! Control what you can't control and let go of what you can't. If using that control means no contact, then so be it. You are the strong one, not her.

@TAB how many assignments?
What a Terrible teacher.
When i did it, it was evenly paced. I wore my cowboy boots there. So much fun at Mission Australia in Rockingham. I’ll probably need to do it again because it was in 2012.
I can understand no classes for you next year. Im trying to work out how am I going to do a diploma. I need to sleep in the middle of the day cause of medication……

How have you been?
@Healandlove I hope you find something everyone enjoys. If you're not sure, there are plenty of youtube videos of people playing, reviewing and teaching you how to play most of these games. I use it a lot to see if I will like a game before buying it.
I've been good thanks. some good days and some not so good... you know how it is. Overall, much better than 6 months ago so progress is progress. I have a endoscopy next week and then my next 3 month blood test on the 28th so feeling anxious about those, but so far in a much better place mentally than I was in the lead up to the last blood test in August.
So is there a bit of board gaming in your near future?

@MJG017 that's a great suggestion on the you tube videos! The kids are opened to playing anything where they can beat the adults! My husband is not really a board game player. He grew up with video games instead. Most of the time it's me and the kids only playing board games. Occasionally he might join for a game or two if I plead. These days I just let him be.
I played a fun game with my nephews and my kids. "Do you really know your family " It was funny because the 15 year old nephew thought he was too cool for it and then ended up joining us. 😂
I'm glad you are well. I know the ups and downs well. As you say progress is progress and I am sure your partner can see this and loves you more for putting all the hard work in. Keep going!
Endoscopies would be scary but at least you will be asleep during the procedure. I'm sure everthing will go well.
Sending you 🫂 hugs!
Santa will bring the new board games home 😉!
