Relationships can be difficult at the best of times @Bubbles3 even without MI thrown into the mix. Can I make a suggestion and ask does your hubby see anyone by himself like a carer's counsellor? I know my Mrs sees one and although I see her counsellor as a bit of a jail warden, it could be good for stress management for him which in turn will help your relationship. If that isn't possible, perhaps you could have some joint sessions with a counsellor or psychologist? I know my Mrs has come to some of my sessions with my psychologist in order to gain insight on how best to help me manage my symptoms and day to day living.
Could be something worth investigating?
