@Shaz51 Just got mine too. Bit chillier here today. What’s your week been like? I’ve had a few small things to do Monday and Tuesday with support worker. Today nothing. I have my support worker 9 hours a week which isn’t much.

@Shaz51 Support comes 3 times a week for 3 hours each shift. When my mental health is better I do stuff the other days but since last year I’ve been really crappy so sadly I am too anxious to go anywhere on my own. I feel embarrassed about it too.
Is hubby got insomnia or is something else causing him to not be able to sleep. 3am is an early start. Do you normally sleep ok when hubby is content?

I feel embarrassed about it too. --- dont need to be embarrassed about it as my husband likes me to go everywhere with him @Cuddlebear and also i cant drive
Hubby overthinks about everything , sometimes it gets really bad , other times not so bad
at the moment , we are trying to help S3 and his partner / wife
it is harder when you are not close to them , being so far away
Do you normally sleep ok when hubby is content? --- I have a cpap machine and with kidney disease i get up 2 or 3 times a night and sometimes my osteoporosis plays up

@Shaz51 Thank you. No one out of the forums really understands that. They just say just go it’s all good. I wish it were that simple. I overthink as well and it can really get me in a bit of a mess. Does hubby drive? I think you mentioned previously when you went to see specialist he was driving there with you.
Is S3 and wife ok? Sounds like they live a bit of a distance from you and yeah thet makes getting there harder and likely less frequent.
Ah you have sleep apnoea as well. How do you find the machine? Coupled with the other medical conditions I can see why you too wake up at night multiple times. I have sleep issues but mine are restless leg syndrome, severe nightmares and sleep paralysis too. I wake up a few times a night from bad dreams and restlessness during sleep. Then when I finally get up I feel exhausted.

@Shaz51 That is really good hubby can drive. It helps having a driver and a car rather than trying to rely on public transport or a lift from someone.
It is challenging sometimes isn’t it when disabilities affect our loved ones but I can tell you and hubby are great parents and there for your kids. Hopefully when you are able you and hubby can visit S3 and his wife 🙂
I am really hoping that you won’t need dialysis for as long a time as possible. I was really happy with the news you shared after your last visit to the kidney specialist. Big virtual hugs.
Im glad the machine is ok. I know a few other people who use them too. They find them helpful.

How are you?
I am online to do my Peer Guide thing but the Vet's forum is very quiet. I did reply to a new member but didn't get any response yet. Patience is not a virtue that I have. I think I need to let it breathe for a while and wait and see how it goes. I might go over to the families forum and look around...
