@Glisten I have everything crossed for the Dockers tomorrow. Of all the teams for them to be playing, to see them beat the crap out of Geelong would be the highlight of my year.

@ENKELI my ex and his bigot family are huge Dockers fans.
But YOUR goodness, kindness, empathy and compassion is a Glimmer superpower.
Because you I hope they come through with a victory ✌️

@Glisten I don't know if I shared my story about being a Dockers fan. My favourite cousin who was the same age as me was a huge Dockers fan and when he passed away in a car wreck his wife made sure they played the Dockers theme at his funeral. He was a pilot so I got the Southern Cross tattooed on me, and became a Dockers supporter in his memory.
You are just lovely G, no wonder I think you are so amazing.
ex friend is a Geelong supporter. To see the Dockers crush the cats is a fantasy of mine.
Do you have a team you follow?

@ENKELI I had a Dockers membership until my ex made going to watch the game such a misery, that I didn’t want to go anymore.
I think that you supporting your cousin’s team is a beautiful thing to do.

Last night's match between Swans and the Pies was a fantastic finish. Unless you're a Pies fan. @StuF I was watching from home, and had pretty much given up on them before they made their big comeback. Were you at the match? Wow, that would have been soo exciting. I've been to quite a few Swans matches, but none for about 4 years now. I believe some fans had left, thinking they were done! They missed a thriller.

Hey @Emelia8
Yep, I was at the game. We had also basically given up! Amazing finish!
I'd actually like to watch it on TV as well; you can miss stuff at the game. But knowing the result it's probably not worth the re watch.
Interesting games today, too!

Hello @StuF @Zoe7 @Emelia8 @Glisten @ENKELI and all sports lovers here. I’m so glad each of you are enjoying the AFL, NRL and related sports.
I’ve been watching the Olympics on TV and have now fallen in love with water polo which I didn’t expect to happen. The players are so fit and so talented with how they manage to both swim and catch the ball to score goals and I’ve developed a lot of respect for both the male and female Aussie teams. I’ve really enjoyed watching this sport on TV. I’ve also enjoyed watching the diving as well along with the athletics including the pole vault and the swimming in general.
As for other sports, I managed to get tickets to see the West Coast Fever play the Melbourne Vixens in the Suncorp Super Netball semi final in Melbourne at John Cain Arena which I really enjoyed seeing despite the Fever getting defeated. My favourite netball team is the Sunshine Coast Lightning due to their connection with the Melbourne Storm with the Fever being my second team. I’ve also enjoyed seeing the Brisbane Lions win 9 matches in the AFL - they got defeated on Saturday by the Giants unfortunately- and seeing the Melbourne Storm win in the NRL lately. This week’s match against the Penrith Panthers should be very interesting as the Storm often struggle against them, including losing to them in the grand final. Hopefully the Storm manage to get a win despite it being at the Panthers home ground.
Enjoy your sports and may your teams win!
