Re: Welcome To The Conversation

Never heard of him @TAB Looked up ... Oh Procul Harum ... didn't they borrow from Bach?  .. in Whiter Shade of Pale ... or something ...been a long time ... have easy piano versions for students etc...The Rivers of Babylon comes to mind ...

yes mystical experiences vary for many people ...some go deep some dont ... there is this idea floating around ... of spiritual emergency ... more polite and inclusive ... I kind of like it.

@StanD I try and keep on topic ... and respect intention of original poster ... but we weave this way and that.

Re: Welcome To The Conversation

. just a thought re peeps looking for churches ... @StanD @Appleblossom @Historylover

there's a 'general guide' thats spread widely around..

Gideons bibles ? .. quick look at their site looks a bit odd, but they do modern King James version I think .. I remember theres like a quick guide in the front , like find your problem, then the answer is on page ..whatever..

https://www.gideons.org.au/help-in-the-bible/

..there's also an app apparently .. @MDT @Meowmy

PS I'm not 'religious' I dont follow organised religion. Can relate to searching though. Good Luck...

Re: Welcome To The Conversation

Hey @StanD hope your new thread goes well. I'm happy to participate and follow along.  Enjoy your weekend!

Re: Welcome To The Conversation

@StanD I actually felt like the forums were a bit of a church and have joked about going to the river as church.  Back from a solid one in stone this morning, which is dealing with shifting congregations and ministers ... they say its not the building but the people.

cheers all
