Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Wow Cap'n... @GonePirate - that's super powerful on several levels. That moved me man...

Props...

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Thank you so much for your kind words, @eth - believe me, the feeling is mutual. I am learning much from your writing... huge hugs...

We learn so much from each other, us here in this online community...

Hugs to us all... wooooooop!!! 🙂

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

I hope that state of "Meh..." passes soon @eth - it's a horrid lifeless feeling... the lemon without the zest...

Lots of peeps say that if life gives you lemons, make lemonade. This is great advice, and an inspiring message. I have my own spin on it - if life gives you lemons, make Margaritas...

Cheers, @eth @GonePirate @BlueBay @Former-Member @Mazarita @Decadian @-heapsofpeepsIkeepforgettingtotag-sorry...

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Poem - The Present Tense

This is a short poem about suicide. Note the double meaning of the titular present tense...

The Present Tense

It’s not my time to say goodbye,
But it’s damn close, without a lie;
Trying hard to make some sense,
And continue in the present tense.

Poem - Oldron

What is actually up in my head? What is it that is me? Neurons and electrical signals firing in a soup of biochemicals and hormones? Thoughts? Emotions? This weirdness that continues to confound and astound me every day...

Oldron

Neuron
Oldron
Maybe it’s all a con;
Maybe my head is full of bees,
Buzzing loud just to tease;
Perhaps my head is stuffed with hay,
An old scarecrow better off that way.
