Hi fellow readers and writers. Smiley Happy

Hi @Silenus, wondering how you are travelling. Smiley Happy

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

lamplit and screenlit

weary eyes witness

late over sleep

if morning's calling

turns chance as you will

be glad in your tiredness

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Three micropoems on a death

Wind sounds like ocean,

melancholy as leaving,

now I remember.

Compassion for the passion,

the confusion, crazy reason.

Forgiveness.

Tomorrow is the promise of mystery.

Today is really here.

Yesterday is always there.

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

There is good in bad
There is bad in good
Is it instinct, is it learnt
can it be understood

There is mystery in the known
there is known in mystery
is it genetically grown or
is it learnt in our history

There is good in good
there is bad in bad
is there happiness in sorrow
is there laughter in sad

Is that tear for joy
does it fall for sorrow
will it dry today or
run into tomorrow

Do we pack our black boxes
full of fears evil hiss
so that we can remember
a gentle touch or a kiss

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Hi Silenus
I also use writing to express my feelings and to articulate and make sense of my emotions.
I find it helps me to move forward...
