Today's thoughts... @Dimity @Bunniekins @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Mazarita @frog @Former-Member @Meowmy
BB 🐰💙
Crash, Boom, Bang
Crash, boom, bang,
We’re here too soon,
I’m feeling like,
A freaking loon,
There’s concrete,
Running through my head,
Too quick to drop,
Too slow to dread.
I’m running sideways,
Into walls,
Crash, boom, bang,
Here come the falls,
A soul that stumbles,
To and fro,
And contemplates,
Nowhere to go.
Crash, boom, bang,
No way to be,
The darkness comes,
Before I flee,
Engulfed and trapped,
I feel the choke,
Of broken neurons,
In the smoke.
I’m frozen in,
A solemn stare,
Crash, boom, bang,
I feel the glare,
A thousand faces,
Turn their heads,
Ignoring all,
The wounds I’ve bled.
Crash, boom, bang,
I see the bough,
My life belongs to,
Here and now,
The past is pain,
The future fear,
The agony,
Is all too clear.
And when I’m stuck,
Upon that limb,
Crash, boom, bang,
I dive right in,
Beneath the burning
Sea of life,
My soul is singed
From scorn and strife.
Crash, boom, bang,
My journey lands,
Upon the pasty,
Barren lands,
Devoid of colour,
Love or joy,
Just washed up,
Like a broken toy.
But I will not,
Reveal my hand,
From here on out,
I’ll make my stand,
You haven’t heard,
The last of me,
Crash, boom, bang,
I’ll stagger free.

You are so talented, maybe you could teach poetry or set up a community group of like minded people? ❤️

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy
@Former-Member @Bunniekins @Meowmy
Thank you my dear friends. I wish I could teach others, honestly I'm not sure where it comes from myself it just blurts out. Usually when I'm manic. When I'm well I can't tap into the feelings and when I'm depressed I can't think straight. So I think the mania & mixed episodes propel it. I read a lot of rhyming verse when I was a kid as an escape, I guess some of it rubbed off on me.

@Bunniekins @Dimity @Shaz51 @Mazarita @Meowmy @Former-Member @frog @HenryX @TideisTurning @Appleblossom It's late, I'm a bit mixed and can't sleep. But I found this verse, I hope you all like...
BB 🐰💙
On The Worst Of All Days
On the worst of all days...
There are flowers to smell,
There are flavours to taste,
There are stories to tell,
There are visions to see,
There are trails to go hike,
There are sunsets to glance,
There are roads to go bike.
In the worst of all moods...
There are books to be read,
There are verses to write,
There are things to be said,
There are songs to be sung,
There are lines to be blurred,
There are movies to watch,
There are jokes to be heard.
At the worst of all times...
There are choices to make,
There are treasures to hold,
There are wounds to forsake,
There are plans to prepare,
There are wrongs to protest,
There are wonders to see,
There are goals to invest.
In the worst of all lows...
There are hurts to erase,
There are options to choose,
There are rainbows to chase,
There are dreams to indulge,
There are layers to peel,
There are thoughts to provoke,
There are passions to feel.
On the worst of all days...
There is light in the dark,
There is comfort in hope,
There is spirit in spark,
There is heat from the earth,
There is warmth from the sun,
On the worst of all days...
There is life to be won.
