Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Beautiful friend fly high

Another angel above

watching over your amazing family

my heart aches for you have gone

but I have beautiful memories of you

RIP beautiful friend ❤️😢❤️

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

partial parts

partial parts are part of me

objects in my objective view

entities entirely on their own

surrounded by surroundings

unfamiliary familiar

physically unphysical

located in different locations

timely untimed in timelines

abstraction in abstract worlds

construct concepts

cognitive cognition

partial parts of me

Hi @petrichor looks like you may be recent to the forum, and to this wonderful writing space created by @Silenus five years ago. Thank you for sharing your writing with ours. Hope you return with more poetry.

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

You tarnished what was a beautiful thing

Banished the memories I held dear

You destroyed my soul that night

Destined to break my heart in two

Whatever the outcome I can’t erase

The brokenness you have created inside

You took away my ability to say no

You must of know what you did was wrong

Yet the evil inside you didn’t make you stop

How do I go on living this nightmare

When every time I wake up reality is still there

I wanted to keep what you did a secret

But you’ve taken that from me too

You took so much that night

Including my life

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

My life often feels like living in a hall of mirrors.

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Further to halls of
mirrors, sometimes

people seem like
paper dolls.

How much I liked them
in childhood,

making careful shapes
with scissors,

and colouring
in dresses.

Nor am I in 3D, in
my mind sometimes.

One theory of existence is
we are holograms.

Or maybe life is a

moment to moment

blinking in and out,

as with breathing,

but faster than

the speed of light.

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Hi @Former-Member I love Autumn and Spring where I am living now, though it's pretty much green all year round here the sub-tropics.

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

It's wonderful @Mazarita, not trying to be too flowery but simply honest and straight to the point. Very poignant.

Thank you for sharing it 🙂
